The media are whores, after all, and along with the oil companies and defense industry, they're pulling in tons of dough off this atrocity-in-the-making, while most Americans flounder in economic recession that's goes virtually unreported. But cruise missiles are so much sexier than unemployment rates. As the media sees it: Who cares if the world is against this war? They'll watch it. They'll be glued to their boob tubes. | |
